Privacy policy

Privacy settings and platform data handling during launch.

Last updated: 4 April 2026.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how Visa Matter handles personal information collected through account creation, authentication, matter intake, and related platform activity during launch.

Information collected

We collect account information such as name, email address, role, phone number, and location, plus matter information that users choose to provide in their brief, including category, timing, summary, and document indicators.

Why information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, operate the platform, present structured matter briefs, maintain audit trails, protect platform security, and support moderation, dispute review, and service improvement.

Service providers and storage

Launch operations rely on third-party infrastructure providers used to host the application and run account, session, and database services, including Vercel and Supabase. Information is stored and processed through those service providers as part of the platform workflow.

Sharing and disclosure

Matter and account information is disclosed only as needed to operate the platform, present the brief to relevant professionals, comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, investigate misuse, or protect users and the platform.

Retention and account records

We retain account, matter, and core workflow records for operational, moderation, dispute, and compliance purposes for as long as reasonably required during launch and continuing service operation.

Launch-stage requests

During initial launch, privacy and account-data requests should be raised through an authenticated platform workspace so the request can be tied to the correct account and reviewed securely.
